Bone needs time to grow and strengthen around a graft before an implant is placed. This often takes several months, though the exact timing depends on the site and your healing. Dr. Ariz confirms your timeline based on imaging and how the area heals.
Only if imaging shows there is not enough bone height in the upper back jaw for a secure implant. Not everyone needs one. The exam and 3D images tell us clearly, and Dr. Ariz will only recommend it when it is needed for a successful result.
